Here's a really heavy hitter from Frederic Mercier, in the track 'Spirit', of the Pacific LP. Released in 1978, which nowadays gets under 'way-ahead-it's-time' segment.
And it truly was. Check!

In the mix!
Recorded this earlier today. It flows quite nicely and I got fairly please with it, so I might as well put it up here. Some boogie, 80's leftfield bits, house and an amazing Frederic Mercier track in the end.

Venise - The mistery with me
On the subject of disco, not particularly deep, but certainly a solid one. Venises' 'The mistery with me' from the 'Best disco in the city' LP. There's another release under the producer Jo Bissos name. There's actually a few other heavy and much sampled tracks on the LP.
Hope you dig!

N.Y. House'n Authority – APT. 3A
I went back to this the other day and did I get a pleasant surprise?! Very much a stone cold classic from from day one. Rheji Burrells APT. EP on Nu Groove. But it sounded even better than I could remember. And the APT. 2A track as well. Certainly a record that will be one those rare 12" kids will be looking for in 10 years time.
Hope you dig!

Fonda Rae - Heobah (Hey-O-Bah)
Happy new year to you all!
I was gonna try to summarise the year in some way, not sure how. A list or most played record or so. But that's just too much to ask for, especially on a day like this. But I've picked a recent favourite that been along to quite few gigs during past times - Fonda Raes' "Heobah (Hey-O-Bah)". She's probably most known for the all-time classic in "Over like a fat rat". This might not be as iconic, but still a fine and heavy party starter.
Hope you dig!
